Preschool

This program is a tuition based program for children who will be 4 years old by October 1st.  Additionally, they must be potty trained before beginning the program.  Children will be part of a smaller classroom setting with a max of 20 students and will participate in a full day preschool environment.  This program will provide a curriculum to prepare your child for kindergarten by learning letters, numbers, letter sounds, social skills and more. 

NOTE: The Child Find Form and Pre K General Health Appraisal forms are required for each Preschool student. The child find form can be found below. The physical can be found on our Nurse page here. These forms can be turned into the front office or uploaded during your registration process.

Elementary (K-6)

The school day begins at 8:00 and ends at 15:30.

Core Knowledge

The Core Knowledge Foundation was created by E. D. Hirsch, Jr., after researching what smart Americans know. Core Knowledge includes interesting history, art, music, science, and language arts.  Students learn about great people of the past and their impacts on civilization.  This content-rich curriculum builds strong foundations for later learning. STEM

Colorado Military Academy is home to a Creative Learning Systems SmartLab. Elementary students explore robotics, software engineering, mechanics and structures, circuitry, scientific data and analysis, alternative energy, computer graphics, and digital media arts.

Secondary (7-11)

Formation is held every morning at 7:50. The school day begins at 8:00 and ends at 15:30.

At Colorado Military Academy, we are focused on developing the whole person. We blend military and technical learning to teach leadership skills and build character while providing real-world technical skills required for today’s job markets. For example, Career Choices is a semester long class that matches student personalities, values, and interests with possible careers. Additionally, Our Civil Air Patrol (CAP) program is an auxiliary of the Air Force, open to motivated middle school students and required for high school students.
