At Colorado Military Academy (CMA), we are committed to financial transparency and responsible stewardship of our resources. Our budget reflects our dedication to providing a high-quality education while ensuring fiscal accountability. Each year, CMA develops an adopted budget that aligns with our mission, academic goals, and operational needs.

CMA follows a structured budgeting process to ensure financial stability and alignment with state requirements. This process includes:

  • Assessment & Planning: Reviewing prior financial performance and identifying projected revenue and expenditures.

  • Stakeholder Input: Gathering feedback from school leadership, staff, and community stakeholders to ensure priorities align with our educational mission.

  • Drafting & Review: Developing a preliminary budget and reviewing it against financial best practices and compliance guidelines.

  • Board Approval: Presenting the budget to the Board of Directors for approval in compliance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) regulations.

  • Implementation & Monitoring: Executing the budget and continuously monitoring financial performance to ensure fiscal responsibility.
