While tuition is free, some student fees may apply for specific programs, activities, and resources. These fees help support extracurricular activities, classroom materials, and specialized learning opportunities.
Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Uniforms and Program Participation
Athletics and Extracurricular Activity Fees
Lab Fees for Science and STEAM Courses
Technology and Equipment Fees
Field Trips and Special Events
All mandatory fees, fines, and charges shall be waived for indigent Cadets. For purposes of Cadet fees, an indigent Cadet is defined as any child who is eligible for a free or reduced-price lunch under the federal poverty income guidelines, including homeless and foster children. Waivers for non-indigent Cadets may be requested by contacting the Executive Director (Interim).
Cadets qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch under the federal poverty income guidelines, including homeless and foster Cadets, are eligible to receive a waiver of all mandatory fees, fines, and charges upon request. Transportation fees will be waived for Cadets qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch, homeless and foster Cadets, and Cadets with transportation as a related service on their IEP. Teachers and principals will make every effort to ensure that no Cadet is denied the right to participate in field trips or other enrichment activities because of lack of funds. Families who believe they qualify for a fee waiver must contact the School Leader to make such a request.
A complete list of approved student fees, as determined by the CMA Board, can be found in the Student Handbook under General Information. This document outlines all applicable fees and ensures transparency in the cost structure for students and families. Also see the CMA Student Fee Policy here.
