Military School Liaison
Colorado Military Academy Awarded
Purple Star School Designation
Colorado Military Academy is proud to be one of just 27 schools in Colorado—and the only school authorized by the Charter School Institute—to earn the prestigious Purple Star School designation. This honor recognizes our commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families through dedicated programs, resources, and a welcoming school environment.

Military School Liaison at CMA
At CMA, we understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with being part of a military family, and we strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment for all. We are actively working to meet the standards required to be recognized as a Purple Star School, a distinction awarded to schools committed to supporting military-connected students and their families. As part of our committment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students, especially military families, CMA has made the following resolution to support military families:
At Colorado Military Academy, our Military School Liaison is dedicated to supporting the unique needs of our military families and ensuring a seamless experience. Read our Military Family Resolution Statement to learn more about our dedication to supporting military-connected families.

Dedicated Support: In addition to the Military School Liaison, CMA has a dedicated Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) who supports our military families and their unique situations.
Tailored Programs: Resources and programs designed to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of military students.
Community Partnerships: Collaboration with local military installations, such as Fort Carson and Peterson Space Force Base, to ensure seamless transitions for students.
Staff Training: Professional development for our educators to better understand and address the needs of military-connected students.
