Enroll at Colorado Military Academy
This page will guide you through each step of the enrollment process and ensure you have all the resources you need to join our CMA community. If you have any questions, our enrollment team is ready to assist you every step of the way.
Enrollment Timeline
The approved 2026–2027 Enrollment Timeline is now available for families to review. This timeline outlines key dates and milestones for intent to return, pre-registration, lottery processes, offers of enrollment, and registration deadlines. Families are encouraged to review the timeline carefully to stay informed and plan accordingly for the upcoming school year.
Please note that all dates are subject to board approval and may be adjusted if necessary. Any updates will be communicated promptly.
- Opens: First week of January
- Closes: Third Friday of January
- Opens: First Monday of February
- Closes: October 1st
The 26-27 Enrollment Lottery will be held March 2 of 2026. Please check the Enrollment Timeline and current Enrollment Policy for more information. Both can be found on the Policies and Procedures page.

Enrollment Process for New Families
A Step-by-Step Guide
A clear and concise explanation of the enrollment process:
- Begin the process by filling out our Pre-Registration Form.
- Create an account for the Charter Enrollment system.
- This form helps us gather preliminary information about your student and start the enrollment process.
- Once your pre-registration form has been reviewed, you will receive an Enrollment Notification with next steps.
- Find the link from the welcome email to navigate to the registration forms.
- Login with your Charter Enrollment account. This is the same account you would have set up when completing the pre-registration form.
- Complete all sections of the registration form.
- Upload required documents as prompted.
- Registration forms need to be completed within 30 days of approval to secure your seat.
To avoid processing delays, the following documents must be uploaded during the registration process:
- Birth verification
- Immunization records
- If applicable:
- Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- 504 Plan
- Advanced Learning Plan (ALP)
- Transcripts
- Asthma Plan
- Allergy and Anaphylaxis Plan
- Seizure Plan
- Medication Administration Permission
- For Pre-K Students ONLY:
- Pre-K Physical
- Pre-K Child Find
- If any corrections or updates are needed for your submitted information or documents, the enrollment team will notify you.
- Complete all corrections promptly to avoid delays in enrollment.
- Once your registration has been approved, you will receive instructions to set up a PowerSchool/MyPowerHub Parent Portal Account.
- This account will be your primary tool for staying connected in support of your student's education.
- Follow the provided instructions to create your account and link it to your student’s information.

- Once your enrollment is finalized, you will receive a Parent Information Packet from the registrar, which includes:
- Start date
- How to order Uniforms
- Uniform and grooming standards
- Supply lists
- Additional important information to help your family prepare for a successful school year.
- Some students might also receive additional instructions to request their courses for Secondary scheduling.
- Complete the Course Request Form in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
- A separate form must be completed for each secondary student in grades 7-12 to ensure proper course placement.

- Complete the Student Address Form
- Complete the Health Information Update Form
- Complete the Residence Survey Form
- Complete the Permissions and Agreements Form
