Our Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Program
At Colorado Military Academy (CMA), our partnership with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) provides students with unmatched leadership, aerospace, and character development opportunities that prepare them for success in school, service, and life.
CMA received its official CAP charter in 2017 and proudly hosts CO-805, one of only a few school-based squadrons in the United States. Today, CO-805 is the largest CAP squadron in Colorado, a testament to our students’ dedication and the strength of our program.

Whether students aim to join the U.S. Armed Forces, attend a military academy, or pursue leadership in any career field, the Civil Air Patrol program gives them a solid foundation. Many of CMA’s graduates who participated in CAP have gone on to attend top military colleges and academies across the nation.
