Before and After School Care at Colorado Military Academy
Colorado Military Academy (CMA) offers Rocket Club, a structured and engaging before and after school care program designed to support our students and their families. Rocket Club provides a safe, supervised environment where students can participate in meaningful activities that promote learning, social development, and recreation beyond the regular school day.
New to Rocket Club this year: Kinder Prep Academy!
This exciting program is designed for 4-year-olds to build the academic, social, and emotional skills they need for a successful start to kindergarten through hands-on learning, STEAM activities, and school readiness experiences in a fun, nurturing environment.
Rocket Club is available to CMA students in grades K-8 and offers both morning and afternoon sessions. Whether families need an early drop-off option or extended care in the evening, Rocket Club provides flexibility and reliability for busy schedules.
Program Hours:
Before School Care: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM
After School Care: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Friday Care: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM (Available at an additional cost)
Summer Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Our program includes a variety of structured and unstructured activities to keep students engaged while allowing them to unwind after a busy school day. Activities include:
Homework Assistance – A quiet space with support from staff to complete assignments.
STEAM Enrichment – Hands-on projects that reinforce CMA’s strong science and technology focus.
Arts & Crafts – Creative expression through various artistic mediums.
Physical Activities – Indoor and outdoor play to encourage movement and teamwork.
Character Development – Leadership and social skills activities aligned with CMA’s values.
Safe, structured supervision by experienced staff.
Opportunities for academic enrichment and extracurricular exploration.
Flexible scheduling options to accommodate working families.
A positive and supportive environment that fosters social and emotional growth.
Rocket Club payments are based on an income-based sliding scale. Below is a graphic outlining the sliding scale and the pay rates for full-day and half-day. Summer care rates will be posted soon!
I-CAP or other subsidies are not accepted.
Rocket Club will be closed on the following holidays. Please plan accordingly:
The following information is required prior to the child’s first day of care:
Approved Rocket Club Application in PowerSchool
Complete RegWerks Registration and set up payment information
Student Information Update in PowerSchool
Health Information Update in PowerSchool
Immunization records – Submitted to the school nurse and up to date.
Student Health Information Form – Submitted to school nurse
Parent Authorization: Emollients Form – Submitted to school nurse
Navigate to cma.powerschool.com/public
Log in using your PowerSchool credentials
If you do not have a PowerSchool account, you will need to create one.
School Code is HKDW
Navigate to the ‘Forms’ tab and select it
Select the ‘Rocket Club Application’ form
Complete or Update your information
Ensure that your previous year’s tax statement has been uploaded
Please note: If you do not have your most recent tax statement attached to your application, your application may be denied.
Submit your application
The CMA staff will review all applications and send parents an update on the status of their registration
